Archeoastronomy

The study of astronomical archaeology and the ancient cites through out the world that were made precisely to the nature of the stars, the suns movement, or of a certain planet’s influence. Throughout history the constellations and stars such as Sirius have made into our past, present, and destined future. I have often wondered why certain symbols, idols, and signs have stood the test of time and why humans originally associated them. Among our fellow human peers, the archaeological study of ancient astronomy and astrology has finally be recognized.

I took a course that explained the concepts in detail on Coursera here: Archaeoastronomy

Famous Archaeoastronomy Locations, as examples:

  • Pyramids of Egypt
  • Stonehenge
  • Göbekli Tepe
  • Serpent Mound

These locations all have something in common, and that is that they are all dedicated or oriented towards their favored star sphere be that the Sun, the pole star of that time, Moon, or another star such as in Orion or Sirius.
